| FIELD TRIP!!
although i never mentioned it, the field trip was rescheduled...it's for tomorrow..
we're going to Enchanted Kingdom! haha!
and Love Joy, Jenivive, Lalaine and i have this sort-of contest/bet
going...riding on Anchors Away without screaming, getting scared or
throwing up. so yeah.
whoever screams will have to pay a certain large amount of cash, so..*gulp*
anyway, i don't really care...and i don't wanna pay up, so yeah...

| went to Shangri-la today...
hm, as usual, i tired my legs out walking around with my mom and aunt...they were looking for a vase, i think...
anyway, soon after, we walked over to Megamall...i decided to hit Powerbooks...
however, i was disappointed...
through all those books piled up waiting to be rifled through, and those books that i DID pick up and rifle through, nothing captivated me or even made me completely interested.
no reaction or sudden thrill in the Mystery/Thriller section...no excitement even in the Astrology/Occult section...nothing. nada. zip. zilch.
what the heck is wrong with me?? usually no matter what, Powerbooks has something for me. this time, well...
i must be in a really weird mood. -_- what's bothering me???
maybe i'm going numb...maybe somethings eating away at my insides(not
literally). i don't know. something's wrong with me today....

| downloading mode...
as expected on a day like this. can you believe it? no classes on a FRIDAY! i have come to love Fridays again, but i'll be hating this day again as soon as 3rd Quarter begins...
i've surrendered to downloading manga again...i can't believe "Yakitate! Japan" ! too many cliffhangers...you just HAVE to download the next chapter in order to know what happens next...it's not fair...
the way it keeps pausing at interesting points reminds me of the Arabian Nights...ever heard of how they came to be?
there was once a king in a distant land who had a wife...his wife was
unfaithful to him, and so he had her head cut off when she was
discovered. in order to prevent this from happening again, he would
marry a woman one day, and have her head cut off the next morning.
(harsh, isn't it?)
now, the king's royal adviser had a beautiful daughter named
Scheherazade. she was convinced that she could end the king's hatred of
women. she persuaded her father to let her marry the king. after a lot
of persuasion, the king's adviser consented.
the evening after scheherazade and the king were married, she bagean
telling him a story that lasted late into the night. the king was
captivated by the story, but Scheherazade managed to stop at a very
interesting point. eager to know more, the king let her live another
day.
on and on, the stories went. each evening Scheherazade weaved stories
and paused at certain points that would intrigue the king. she
continued to tell stories for a thousand and one nights. by then, the
king had fallen in love with her.
when the king confessed his love for her, Scheherazade fell to her
knees in happiness. the king promised that he would not kill her, and
so forth, she saved all women from the king's hatred...
touching story. no wonder i loved A Thousand and One Arabian Nights when i was still a kid. i wish i could find a book containing all the stories told over those thousand and one nights.
ack. however, Yakitate! Japan is
a manga (Japanese comic) about bread-making. strangely enough, once you
start reading, you won't be able to stop because, well, apart from the
fact that it's interesting, it's also very funny.
my current to-do list:
1. Get my own account on Mangadownload. net. (DONE!)
2. Download more chapters of Yakitate! Japan.(ON-going!)
3. Download some anime songs i found off my friends playlist.(if i ever stop Downloading manga...)
4. Go through the Tantei Gakuen Q Message boards to see if there are any threads i've missed.
5. Take a look at the Naruto online manga.
6. formulate the Questionairre for our thesis. ( HAH! first priority ko yata ang enjoyment of the internet rather than schoolwork!)
7. Search for the Opening songs of CSI: Miami and CSI: New York.
8. Figure out how the heck Limewire works so i can finally get some English songs in my playlist!
9. search desperately for Tantei Gakuen Q manga scanlations....
10. Search desperately for Tantei Gakuen Q anime screencaps.
eeek. what a nice to-do list.
